Dream a little dream of me

It's uncanny how I seem to remember most of my dreams. This probably explains the distinct sense of deja vu.

Deaths, even in dreams, are terrifying. I've woken up many a time drenched in tears, shakened and traumatised. Sweet dreams you wish were prophecies, bitter ones you hope never came true. A friend once dreamt he snogged his maid and was totally grossed out by daybreak. Visibly disturbed, he recounted the ordeal, in between sobs perhaps. *laugh*
"Damn freakin disgusting, and she's ugly lor.."
There was once I dreamt I scored 18/80 for a Physics common test back in JC. It wasn't exactly remote-I scored 23/80. Someone up there must have had been tryin to tell me something. The atrocious grades got me workin my ass a lil' harder lest I end up sweeping the streets.
4D dreams do not only knock on doors of avid gamblers. The 4 magic digits hit me once one night. "1117" was written all over my mind, I knew I had to place a bet. 4 bucks! 2 big, 2 small. A few grand in my pocket didn't seem any harm I reckoned. Sheesh, my magic numbers failed me. Oh well, but they did seem credible enough to keep me queueing with many uncles and aunties at the 4D booths, religiously for a few Saturdays. Until one day I did my math and realised how much french fries and the then-in-vogue bubble tea I could have had bought with the money. Drats, that was it. To hell with magic numbers. Hmm.. but since you've taken time off to read my gibberish, I'd grant you 4 figures. "4256". Forms part of my IC number and has a history hitting the starters at least. Good investment. Fortune favours the bold. Place a bet if you dare for a quick buck. *laugh*
"Stars fading but I linger on dear
Still craving your kiss
I’m longin’ to linger till dawn dear
Just saying this"
Or perhaps, just dream a lil' dream of me. *Smile*
