Nothing hurts like love

Daniel Bedingfield's going downhill. The crooner apparently churns out awfully sappy love songs. He reigns, he takes the cake. The melody's bad, lyrics superficial. Bah.

He's got his message across though. Love does hurt when mishandled. Comme des Garcons produced a special edition of fragrance called "Love hurts" in conjunction with Valentine's day. Nice packaging with scratchy silver fabric enveloping a silver heart. How apt with the scratchy feel of it.

I've withnessed countless unions. People get drenched in the showers of sweetness, lost in the revelry. Love it when yet another couple emerges, albeit all that ear-nibbling, incessant giggling and sick affectionate terms. The sanctity of it all.. when best friend snagged his girl, he wouldnt stop swooning.
"Aww I miss my sweetie..."
"Oh shut up!" *roll eyes*
"I'm gonna call my sweetie!"
"Oei! 6 years of friendship can't match up with a new squeeze?!"
"Are you gonna have my baby?"
Silence...

It could be committing self-esteem suicide by hanging out too much with couples. Did your inadequacy result in your predicament? Did it inadvertently lead to the demise of your previous relationship? Why the hell are you still left on the shelf?! If there's an overwhelming urge to wanna smack the faces of those face-sucking, touchy-feely lovebirds, I assure you you're normal. Yes, it's certifed. Very normal. It's a psychological, but nowhere near life-threatening condition known as jealousy. Some call it envy, but I think it's a euphemism.

Being single brings less tears, but simultaneously less joy. Love is all around, but never for long. Call me a cynic.

It isn't that bad, darling. I love being in love.. and I'm certain you love it too, well of course that's if he's right for you.

How true. Being in love will eventually lead to betrayal, jealousy, possessiveness etc... and soon you will no longer be in control of yourself. Of cos, it's really nice being in love, but how long can it last before it hurts?
