The Vindicating World
Magnanimity is like having attained nirvana. It is surreal, but hardly rampant amongst humans. Though I may have still have the capacity to forgive, I am barely gracious. The girl who bitched about me years ago usually stays remembered. The guy who treated me shabbily hasn't faded into seclusion. Forgiven not forgotten. Vindicating Me.
An amicable break-up usually ends off with one party giving the other his/her blessings.
"I wish you well, I just want you to be happy."
Reality check, this translates:
" I'm pretending to be nice to regain your favour, so if you leave, I pray you be damned with bad sex eternally."
Well of course there are geniunely sweet people out there who embrace the world with love. Awww...
A friend who got jilted was bitter and hung up. Didn't help at all when her ex snagged a new girl in a month. She couldn't fathom why he chose a hamburger with measely low grade beef patti over succulent top grade Kobe steak. *laugh* Okay, might be pushing it a little but the idea is somewhat captured.
"Argh, she's fat, and her boobs are way too big"
"She's got no clothes, she only has that green top which looks 2 sizes too small for her."
"Oh gosh, she doesn't tweeze her eyebrows."
"Utterly bad dress sense."
She would bump into the duo outside zouk on wednesdays. They would be in the queue, she would whizz in with a swipe of her card. She thought he looked appallingly bad; he was decked out in clothes seemingly picked out from the bargain-bin; She thought his girl looked appallingly bad; she looks like she belongs in the bargain-bin. A bargain-binnish lookin' couple.*laugh*
There exists no personal vendetta between the 2 girls prior the relationship woes. All it took was jealousy and a bargain-binnish guy to ignite a spark. The new squeeze would have had just been another girl in school if not for the union. Guilty by association.
She doesn't give them her blessings, neither does she curse. Revenge might be sweet but perhaps nonchalence is cooler.

haha, you're so mean! well, but there's a little truth in it, she is a tad too plain. Not like he's any better anyway huh. Remember, good riddance to bad rubbish! wahaha.
your title is wrong. Vindicating means to clear of accusation or blame. The way your entry is written, I think you mean vindictive. Vindictive World, Vindictive Me. Vindicating means something else. Just cos they both start with v-i-n-d-i-c doesn't mean they're the same thing.
What about the mini skirt 3 sizes too small? Fiction so real it seems like reality.

I don't know who you are but you sure sound like an English teacher to me. Couple of blocks down is another blog that needs some major corrections. If you're done with this one, that is.
But, seriously you should get a life. Go help some tsunami victim. Or go teach English (Do you already?). Sure beats snooping around people's blogs and posting some silly brag-ass remarks. Moreover, if you really wanna give an English lesson, at least complete it. "Vindicating means something else" - wow, how concise.
This is HER blog. She can well do anything she pleases. If it irks you so much, then leave. Now run along, and don't forget your dictionary.
