Let's Wax Lyrical

Songs make the best soul mates. One for every occasion. Sing a lullaby, sing the blues away. Chill.

Xmas thoughts for my Soul

Year-End. The dealing room is unusually silent. For once, the Singaporeans outnumber the caucasians. Calls have dwindled. Bored, I can't get any more bored than now. ha.

Because I'm bored, I'm reading blogs. Blogs, certain blogs, have come under intense firing in recent times. Perhaps exaggerated, perhaps totally uncalled for. At least mine isn't, for I guess mine is far less than controversial. It is a simple blog of nothing at all.

I just read the blog of someone whom I used to know. He used to be my best friend, but not anymore. He is now but a stranger, an acquaintance at best. He blogs in riddles, he blogs weird, he is but a walking parody. But that's him, that's what makes him real, unafraid of any flak hurled at him. I used to make him a Christmas card every year, but not this year. Cards are written to give thanks, hence it's become discernible I do not owe this stranger any thanks. Not that he gives a hoot anyway.

I think. I reminsce. I sulk. I regret. NAAAaaaaahh.. the new year's gonna be a total blast, especially with an impending pampering trip to Bangkok with Shao, Zhuang and Gerald. Yippee!
